What makes us different is that the members of our project teams are selected from an international network of research scientists who work at the front edge of technological progress in AI, big data analysis and statistical learning theory. WE CREATE STAGES

We work in projects that we conduct in stages. After each stage, you receive detailed information about the progress and can decide whether and how the implementation continues. In this way, we want to reduce the risk for you and increase transparency.

PRE-PRE-STAGE

Firstly, we look at your data and assess whether and in which way it can be useful at all. We do this for free.
Result: You know whether your data can be used for modern AI applications.

PRESTAGE

We put together a group of scientists who are experts in the field fitting to your problem or leverage point. Together with our business expert Bernhard Kerres, we elaborate a report with suggestions for applications and assess their value for your business. This can also be done in a workshop together with you.
Result: A report that contains one or several options for AI software projects. For each option there is a detailed description about the appropriate AI methodology and implementation concepts and an assessment of the value it creates for your company. You can decide whether you want to continue and pick the options you like to have implemented.

ALTERNATING IMPLEMENTATION STAGES

The project team deeply dives into the relevant literature, creates new mathematical models and/or theory targeted to your case. Code is continuously integrated, delivered and deployed. You can assess and follow the course of the development and how functionality and value for your firm is growing.

However, the problem is often to translate your subject specific expertise about your industry to mathematics that is integrated in the software. We find ways to do so. The tools that we create are novel and exclusive.

We are three PhDs, passionate about mathematics and statistical learning. We are convinced that a deep understanding of the mathematical background behind the tools is essential for adequate model building, successful implementation, analysis and interpretation of the results. That’s why we started to build a service provider firm which is as close to science as possible.

Christoph Rust is a PhD candidate in econometrics at the University of Regensburg, where he studied economics and mathematics. His research focuses on Functional Data Analysis (FDA), computational statistics and the analysis of high-dimensional data. He is fascinated about technological advances and wishes that AI will be beneficial to mankind.

PHILIPP GERSING

PhD candidate in mathematics

Philipp Gersing is a PhD candidate in mathematics at the University of Technology Vienna. He works on high dimensional time series (generalised dynamic factor models), the statistical theory of linear systems, in particular estimation of mixed frequency linear systems and on random graphs and complex networks. He studied economics, mathematics and philosophy. He is juniour research fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies Vienna.

RAHIM ENTEZARI

PhD candidate in computer science

Rahim Entezari is a PhD candidate in computer science at the University of Technology Graz. He specialised in computer vision and deep learning on embedded devices. Rahim holds a master degree in artificial intelligence and robotics and a bachelors degree in engineering. He is research fellow at the Complexity Science Hub Vienna.

MANFRED DEISTLER

Scientific Advisor

Prof. em. of statistics

Manfred Deistler is a Professor emeritus at the University of Technology Vienna, working in the fields of econometrics, time series analysis and systems theory. He worked extensively on structure and estimation theory for multivariate state space systems. He also researched on statistical properties of subspace estimators, linear dynamic errors-in-variables models, and generalised dynamic factor models, singular linear systems and mixed frequency. On the other hand Manfred Deistler has also worked on applications. Questions addressed include short-term forecasting of electricity demand, environmental modeling or the analysis of EEG data.

BÁLINT DARÓCZY, PHD

Bálint Daróczy is one of our cooperation partners and our chief data scientist. He is a post-doctoral research fellow at the institute for computer science and control of the hungarian academy of sciences. Bálint has numerous publications in internationally highly recognised journals and conferences. In his research, he focuses on manifolds and deep structures.

He was the only artistic director of a world-leading concert house to bring his startup to Silicon Valley.
